Have gone to several support forums, including WordPress and Tamba2, and I still cannot figure out how to get into my cPanel. Can someone give me step by step instructions how to get there? I can get to my wp-admin page, but from there where?

Your ‘cPanel’ has nothing to do with WordPress. ‘cPanel’ is usually a software that your webhost provides to make it easier to manager your webspace.

    I would try http://example.com:2082 or http://example.com/cpanel

    Who is your webhost?

cPanel is something unconnected with WordPress. First thing you do is check with your web host. See what control panel they offer with each account. If you still have your sign-up documentation, check that to see where to find your control panel. Otherwise, ask your host.

If cPanel is available to you you should be able to access it via your domain name + “/cpanel” (no quotes). Fill in your admin name and password (included with your documentaion) and hit enter. That will take you to your cPanel, where you can do tons of stuff.
