Is this a self-hosted WordPress site? Only there isn’t a Subscribers – Manage Subscribers option in the Admin/Tools sub menu. Users are managed via the Users sub menu.
The WordPress site is hosted by Yahoo. The only “users” are is me – the admin/author. The rest are my subscribers to my blog.
The problem is that even new visitors to my blog can not subscribe since I don’t get notified. My blog is:
franknagyfinancialservices.com/blog
In the tools menu – subscribers, when I type in the emails of a new subscriber (Manage Subscribers) and click “subscribe”, it simply states “Address(es) subscribed!” But no email is added to my current subscribers.
There isn’t a Subscribers – Manage Subscribers option within WordPress itself. Are you perhaps using some sort of subscription plugin?
It must be a plugin. It came with the Yahoo set up.
It might be worth looking in Admin/Plugins section to see if you can identify which plugin it is. Unfortunately, I know very little about the Yahoo/WP set up.
Can you recommend a good “subscriber manager plugin” where I can add/remove subscribers, have visitors to my blog subscribe/unsubscribe to my blog, ete.?
Can I ask why you need a plugin for this? You can do all of those things via the Users sub-menu. And you don’t need any plugins to allow visitors to register on your blog.
I thought I need the plugin to manage my subscribers.
