Most nav bars use the template tag, wp_list_pages(), to display the pages.
So assuming wp_list_pages is being used to display the nav bar you can add navigation to another URL. Grab the Redirectify plugin, create the Page called ‘whatever you want’, save that Page. Then edit that Page and add a Custom Field with a Key of ‘redirect’ and a Value of the url.
Thanks, much appreciated.
(1) How do I create a Page?
(2) How do I add a Custom Field?
(3) How do I edit the page?
I know these sound like basic questions but I can’t find any information on the site that tells how to do these things.
I have created a few pages using add pages but they do not appear on my blog http://theinvisiblementor. Am I missing something? Is there another step for me to take? Can anyone help? I am using the Kubrick theme. Is there a widget to create a nav bar?
Thank you MichaelH!
Your tip on the Redirectify plugin and using redirects for static pages was JUST what I was looking for.
Thank you, thank you, thank you.
