jaykul has a simple rss parser here:
http://jaykul.huddledmasses.org/scripting/news_feed_parser.php
u just need to upload a file, a folder (chmoded 777) and include a 2 line code. u can see a working example here:
http://www.sushubh.com/syndications/
Thank you for the hint! It works very fine (also with the German well known “Telepolis-RDF”).

Jay,
Do I have to create a new page like News_Feed.PHP for my daily news feeds and then insert the script:
“include “xmlfeed.inc”; parseURL(“http://jaykul.fragmentized.com/index.xml”, 5, false, “Jaykul”, “JFC”, -1, -1); ” ?
Thanks!
Curious George
Yeah, http://www.chait.net runs the sidebar on the homepage on a completely rewritten offshoot of jaykul’s original code, uses no DB anywhere. My rewrite also handles the three main variations, does categorized filtering of large feeds, uses a new/cleaner XML parsing mechanism (allowing you to modify further to pull in more fields for display), etc. I’m thinking of making it available to people once I get my cgamazon stuff finished off.
